Sets or returns the type of A trigger. The ﬁ ve types of triggers are of Edge,

Logic, Pulse, Serial, and Video. Logic an

d P ulse triggers contain classes. Logic

triggers consist of S tate, Pattern, a nd SetHold classes; Pulse triggers consist

of Runt, Width, and Transition logic classes. Once you have set the trigger

type, you may also need to identify the associated trigger class. For details on
